T2 Cartier Regional Water Co-Op Headingley Water Treatment Facility

The largest facility owned by Cartier Regional Water Co-op, and designed by Stantec Engineering, has been in operation since April 2016. The facility utilizes Veolia’s (formally GE/SUEZ) dual-stage membrane technology to treat and distribute water from the Assiniboine River to the current distribution network, which spans multiple municipalities, including the RMs of Headingley, Rosser, West St. Paul, and the Stony Mountain Institute.

T1 City of Winnipeg South End Water Pollution Control Center Featuring the Recent BNR Upgrade/Expansion

The new expansion and upgrade was designed by Jacobs and its subconsultants to meet the growing needs of the City of Winnipeg, address the higher standards of wastewater treatment mandated by the Province of Manitoba, and meet effluent standards for total phosphorus, total nitrogen, and ammonia-nitrogen.
