About me
Ian Moran is an Engineer-In-Training working for WSP based out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.
He specializes in membrane filtration and has designed, hand-constructed, and operated several pilot-scale membrane filtration systems for water treatment plants in Western Canada.
Ian’s pilot-scale systems have been the subject of several publications earned recognition through the Government of Canada’s Scientific Research & Experimental Development program. Additionally, he has provided significant engineering contributions to water infrastructure projects for First Nations and remote northern communities.
Ian holds several committee and director positions through WCW, AWWA, ACEC-MB, and IWA. He is a WSP Global Young Professionals Ambassador and Water for People Champion and has written several publications in water and engineering sector magazines.
