About me
My passion for engineering began growing up on a mixed farm in west central Saskatchewan, and continued during my studies as a Civil Engineer at the University of Saskatchewan. I was first introduced to wastewater treatment when I began working as a summer student for the City of Saskatoon. My genuine interest in the industry was recognized, and I was hired as an engineering assistant during completion of my degree. Upon graduation, I quickly ascended to the position of Operations Superintendent; my communication skills and knowledge of the treatment process helped me to earn the respect and trust of my peers. I have been responsible for commissioning over $75 million worth of capital infrastructure in Saskatoon; I enjoy the collaboration and educating that goes into seeing these projects to completion.
Most recently I was hired as the Operations Manager for EPCOR Water Prairies. EPCOR is currently upgrading the City of Regina's Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of a 30 year DBFOM contract. This new position will allow me to continue to grow my project expertise and management skills.
